Grandmothers, Incorporated received several on-line book awards including Best Book of the Year by two online websites. Barnett Evans also collaborated with Rhodes on the play, Grandmothers, Incorporated which enjoyed a successful Off-Broadway at the Billie Holiday Theater in Brooklyn, New York..
