Meet the Author

Her family tells her she is meandering down the road of life but for Ashley Mercier it's all about where she's going to end up, not how long it takes to get there. And that decision was made in her last semester of college when she took a creative writing class. Born with an overactive imagination and an irrational fear of clowns, Ashley has been spinning tales since she learned to write but she was never sure what she wanted to be when she grew up. Now, with a degree in History sitting on her shelf, she spends her free time jotting down notes and dialogue on whatever she can get her hands on, awaiting her own romance novel hero and praying desperately he isn't a clown. Visit Ashley's website (www.ashleymercier.com) for information about previous or upcoming books. You can also follow Ashley on her blog at lovestowrite06.blogspot.com to find out what's happening in her little corner of the world or email her at with questions or comments.

    A must read!!

I couldn't put this book down! I was instantly connected to the characters and invested in their outcomes. The plot was plausible and was woven seamlessly. Not once was I confused or lost. The emotions provoked were real! More than once I laughed out loud, and tears even fell. Tate and Cam are an interesting couple; the author's ability to make them seem real is exceptional.

If you are a fan of love stories, a good romance novel, or even something fun and carefree to read, then this is a book for you! You won't regret the purchase.

I was left wanting more; not in a "the author didn't finish" way, but a "I was so attached that I need more!" way. I'm excited it is a series, and I will be eagerly awaiting the release of the second Carolina Carlyles book!

WOW! Flieder's Choice and Saving Tate were the best novels I have read on nook for a long time! Although the books are over 500 and 600 pages respectively I did not want it to end it was so good! Believeable and so real! I read both books in just over 7 hours with a break. I certainly cannot wait to read Nora's and Patrick's story.
