Good Book on the Basics of Saving

If you are looking for a book on the basics of budgeting, debt and saving then buy ¿Saving Your Way to Success.¿ On like most saving books, Justin includes personal experiences of how he saves money; etc. using ¿How I Did It¿ sections in his book. I like it because it is different from most other books that are either just ¿examples of how to save¿ books, denote just a chapter or two on saving then move on to investing and so forth or is written by someone that works for Wall Street and has never had money problems (or the lack of money problems). It isn¿t a highly publicized book, but I recommend you give it a try.

    Saving Your Way to Success

In a down to earth style, Justin Ertelt allows the reader to relate to the personal experiences and 'John Frugal and William Spendall' ancedotes throughout every chapter. This is not a mind numbing book from some 'wall streeter' who has never had to experience the financial situations (such as being in debt) they always seem to think they know the answer for us people who have been in such situations. It is a highly informative, unique financial self-help book in that Justin uses his own personal experience (along with research to back up his saving ideas) to get the message across of how the reader can save his or her way to success.

    Saving Your Way to Success

This is an excellent first book to read to get yourself in the right direction of your financial life. Justin writes in a down to earth style that I and you can understand and relate to. He also fills his book with the sidebars 'How I Did It' and 'John Frugal and William Spendall' which enhance the rest of the book. These sidebars in themselves allow a person to relate his/her current debt and financial problems to what Justin is demonstrating in 'Saving Your Way to Success.' Justin has found ways to succeed financially using a basic system that he used (he writes about this in his book) to reach success through saving. The same system that works for me and can work for you.
