This entire series is absolutely amazing! The first book is just awesome and each book gets better amd better. (The third is my personal favorite.) You will not be able to put this down. Filled with a twisting plot and action, any reader from 13-16 will surely love this book. It makes your head swim and you become thirsty for more. A.new twist on the Vampire area, and it is one that I love. Read the ENTIRE series!

This book totally blew any expectations I had out of the water! Claire is such a strong main character. With all of the changes, trials, and tribulations she goes through, she stays strong while still remaining vulnerable. The story is excellently written and the plot-line is a unique twist on the "tradtional" vampire stories that I have read. Although there were a couple of spelling/grammatical errors, there were so few that it was easy to read through them. I can't wait to read the next book in the series!

This is an excellent tale about Claire, a teenager who lives in a world run by Vampires, and, on her birthday, receives the rare opportunity to become one. And, not just any Vampire, but the heir to their region's King and Queen. But, do they have another agenda? There's more going on here than Claire knows. Mystery, romance, angst. Savor has it all.

Amazing twist on the vampire sociey though soooooooo much better than twilight it has absolutely no sparkly vampires. This is a book beyind amazing. Amazing wishes it was this amazing. The story is about a regular hum teenage girl who lives in a vampire heiarchy society. Since the vampires are much more powerful and stronger they became the rulers of the society. Claire is suddenly chosen the be the next heir to the vampire throne. She has to decide whether to leave her human life to join the vampires in hopes of saving them or choosing to stay the way she is. This book brings on a romantic twist, vampires, and the true definition of what family is truly like.

Definitely worth reading. A unique take on the whole genre. Good plots and some interesting surprises throughout the series.

I loved this so much that I could not put it down. I skim a lot of books but I didn't even flip past one page!!

Thus is definitely a book for teens. The story is good, the writing isn't great and there are typos throughout, but still a fun read. More violence than twilight but nothing gory. The page numbers were messed up so I'm not sure of the pg count. I will finish the series since I started it, but it's not a must read.

This whole book was unbeleivabky upsettung. The characters were weak and the plot even weaker. I don't understand all of the positive reveiws? At points during thus book I groaned because really the writing is cheesy in a bad way and the main characters comments and adaptions were unbeleivably innacurate and utterly idiotic. The way she adapted to everythijg made no sense. At one point she getsnew parents? And there's like one line in her head about her not liking this? And I swear if hear her say she only wants to be alone but never can one more time I will flip me shooz. In conclusion thus book is poorly written and utterly depless. Read at your own risk

Great book overall. Had some vampire action, romance, reign- ee type system of government, and some cute descriptions of boy vampires. What can I say YUM.

I loved the characters. I love any paranormal romance, but this one was a lot better than some/most. I love to see all the new concepts authors come up with for the super natural beings!! ie:vampire, werewolf, shapeshifter

I loved this book. Interesting storyline. And even though some parts were predictable, the author threw in some curve balls which made up for the few you saw coming. The story moves quickly and draws you in right away. I wish it had been longer, since it really leaves you wanting more. Can't wait to read the next book in the series! Wish it was free too though :) The characters are extremely likable and believable and the villains are the perfectly vile. Fun read. Couldn't put it down.
