Neither, to his chagrin, does his beautiful new neighbor: the equally busy, female-executive-type Julia Evans--though, ultimately, the two have a lot of fun trying to figure out which end to diaper and which end to feed. But what will happen when it's time to give the baby back? Can Sean and Julia go back to the "rat race" and life as usual? Or are their hearts ready to Say Uncle... and Aunt?

Editorial Reviews

Library Journal
In her funny first book, Pizzuti tells the story of Hattie Hopkins, who runs an old-fashioned boarding house in McLaughlin, VT. Two of Hattie's boarders are career-obsessed Sean Flannigan and Julia Evans, neither of whom has time for love. Luckily for them, Hattie has a hearing problem, so when they ask her to pray for help with their careers, she translates a need for a promotion into a vacation. The unexpected time off from his job gives Sean an opportunity to babysit his niece and to realize that there is more to life than work. Although some of the characters are not fully three-dimensional, this fresh, light, and funny read is certainly a welcome change of pace.
