Meet the Author

Since first publishing in January 1996, Lori Foster has routinely released six to ten books a year and has become a Waldenbooks, Borders, USA TODAY, Publishers Weekly and New York Times bestselling author.

Lori believes it's important to give back to the community as much as possible, and for that reason she ran special contests in conjunction with a publisher, facilitating many first sales for new authors. She routinely organizes events among authors and readers to gather donations for various organizations.

Along with her good friend Dianne Castell, Lori hosts a very special annual Reader & Author event in West Chester, Ohio. Proceeds from the event go to benefit worthy causes, including the Hamilton County YWCA Battered Women's Shelter, the Animal Adoption Foundation and the Conductive Learning Center for children with spina bifida and cerebral palsy.

Lori visits daily with readers at these online locations: Running With Quills blog at runningwithquills.com and the message board featured on lorifoster.com.

    Bad

    ## BAD. I adore lori foster but this story "say yes" was really bad. The hero and heroine have less chemistry than a brother and sister. And they were both awful. The hero kept teasing her by kissing and holding her but wouldnt give her sex even though she practically begged. Well stop kissing and leading her on then. Ugh! She should have told him "thanks for getting me hot and bothered" then left to find a willing man. Don't bother with this book.

Say Yes - What a Romantic Comedy Should Be

Rarely do I enjoy a reading a book more so than with Say Yes. The opening scene--the opening page!--hooked me in. The two leads, Sara and Gavin, are interesting, believable characters - with a twist: Gavin is the one who wants to settle down, get married and Sara is the reluctant one. What follows is an amusing--and sexy--story of one man's attempt to 'get' his woman.
Ms. Foster has blended the right amount of humor and sensuality in this story. And the addition of several members of the animal kingdom give the story an added element that many readers will enjoy.
Lori Foster has found her true calling in romantic comedy. I can only hope her publisher feels the same. Say Yes is the perfect book for a lazy summer weekend, so Say Yes and put this book on your To Be Bought list.

    Fantastic!

I thoroughly enjoyed both of these stories and I do not usually like short stories. But these were humorous and touching and down to earth. You will laugh out loud and like the characters! Perfect bedtime story!
