Overview

She always got anything she wanted . . .

Playing with Fire 3

A teenage crush on her big brother's boyfriend. It was one of the few times in her spoiled-little-sister life that Alexa had to swallow the word "no". She got over it, or she thought she had-until her brother's wedding brings Eric back into her life, as flirty and fun as ever. It never mattered to her that he's gay. Attraction is attraction.

One illicit kiss, and their reconnection blows her mind and rekindles girlish hopes. Then he sets her away from him and runs like hell.

Eric can't believe that a woman's touch arouses him. Not just any woman, but sweet Alexa, and he can't help but want more. Desperate to come clean, he confesses all to his steady boyfriend, Brandon, expecting anger. But Brandon's intrigued. He wants to meet the woman who's tied Eric up in knots. With luck, maybe she'll relight the spark between them.

Alexa may have lost her chance with Eric, but the consolation prize-a fling with him and Brandon, is too tempting to resist. She never expected to love both men, or to secretly yearn to belong to the one who commands her body like no other . . .

Warning: Contains m/m sex, m/f/m sex, three people confused and in love, a little bit of punishment, a lot of dirty talk and a lot of naughty sex.

    a good read!

this was my least favorite book in the series. i ended up feeling so bad for Eric that i was almost distracted by everything else. it was still a good book and very hot I just wish it had ended a little different.

    Spoiler***Not really a HEA

I know it's probably not realistic to expect a HEA from most menage books but I was really disappointed with the outcome of the trio becoming a duo. The sex scenes were good but I found myself skipping some because I found it hard to read a menage scene in which one third of the menage had just had his heart broken by the other two.... I like kinky erotic romance and recommend the book based on the hot sex scenes but if you're like me and prefer love and sex to mesh well...make sure you don't get too connected to the characters because the character I liked most was the one left in the dust... Not very HEA which I prefer in my books.

    LOVED IT!!!

This book was a fun read! Alot of HOT scenes, if wild raunchy sex scenes bother you then dont read.... but if that dosent bother you and you want or need a good sex read then buy it! I think you should read from the start to know the characters. This is book three and i LOVED that it was a little longer than book 1 & 2.

    Realistic

This is the first book I have read by this author and I like her writing style. This is also the first menage story I have read that does not have a fairytale ending like pretty much all others do which is why this story seems to be more realistic. Like others have mentioned I did feel bad for Eric, but his relationship with Brandon was starting to have problems before they brought Alexa into the mix. Of course emotions and feelings develop and get in the way of keeping things light & fun. In the end I did feel that Brandon & Alexa really did regret hurting Eric and still love him and want to have him in their lives as a friend. Hopefully, Eric will get his own book.....I really would love to see him find love & happiness too!

Scandalous is another retread of the first book (Forbidden) with a slight twist which features Austin’s younger sister Alexa and yet another of Austin’s ex-boyfriends, Eric.  Alexa had a crush on Eric from long ago when she was a teenager.  They hook up years later at Austin’s wedding.  However, if you thought this was going to end up as a ménage with Eric, his current boyfriend, Brandon, and Alexa, you would be wrong.  Instead, Alexa ends up with Brandon, leaving Eric out in the cold (perhaps so the author can put out a book featuring Eric finding a girl of his own?).
