Running from their scandalous past, they relocated to Jacksonville but they weren't looking for fun in the sun, they were looking for some new victims. They specialized in using their stripper moves in the clubs to lure the big city ballers into their webs.
After securing work at the hottest strip club in Jacksonville, owned by Rose a street heavyweight, the girls put their plan into action. They had everybody fooled until certain things started pointing in their direction.
Hard and Murk, the city's goons and Rose's right hand men, knew something wasn't right about the out-of-towner but dismissed it until things started hitting close to home.

    great book

this book really shows that females and males can really be scandalous and that no matter who you trust somebody that you're cool with or that work for you will have their hands in your cookie jar so you cant really trust anyone. however this was a real good book wish their was more.

    Scandalous

It took me awhile to get into this one, but a more I read the more interested I became. Although the street life was and has never been a favor of mine I liked the book and was able to relate to the realistics of it.

Monique, Kasandra and Trina are all best friends on a mission to get paid, by any means necessary. In the story they relocate to Jacksonville since they are trying to run from there past. They settle on Jacksonville because they figure there is money down there that needs to be gotten. the three figure Jacksonville is the perfect place where no one knows them and they can start their search for new victims. Once they get settled they start to use what they got to get closer to what they want. By becoming strippers at one of the hottest club in town they know that they can get closer to the ballers. Things start out good for them, they are making there money and pulling the ballers in, that is until things start to change with one of them and things start to get a little more hectic. Will they continue to get away with their plans or will thinsg start to crumble for them? When the ladies decide to get close to a the wrong victim his goons Hard and Murk start to think that the ladies have a lot more going for them other than stripping.

This is a short story. I thought the book was a good read which is why I am giving it 3 stars. It just took me a few days to read this because some parts were not really drawing me in, its like some parts were slow. Like I was having a history lesson about the part of town they was in. I did enjoy the story it was well written, but I felt for a title such as Scandalous they should have been doing some over the top type of scandalous things. Yes there were lies being told, and secrets being kept, but I didn't feel like while reading I was like dang didnt see that coming or happening. Of course there were things they did that wasnt always agreed upon with the other characters but thats just part of the territory they were in... it was bound to happen eventually. Anyways overall I though the story was ok, a good one. So if your looking for a ahort story where the females are calling the shots and running the show then this one may be the one for you.
