The cover bag caught my eye--as well as a gingham quilt with a heart motif and stuffed reindeer decorations. The embroidery is easy and well explained--the items should be quick to sew, (mostly) useable, and quite giftable. All the patterns and embroidery motifs are in the back of the book and need to be enlarged! This increases the time, expense $$, and planning. The embroidery motifs are color coded--a feature that will be lost when enlarged. Some of the patterns would have to be cut out of the book to lie flat enough to effectively copy/enlarge. The cover progect states in the explanation that the thick felt used "is difficult to source." The substitution suggested looked sloppy. Remember that's what initially caught my eye! Inspirational photos and techniques well-explained, but that's all I'm likely to get out of this book.
