The best K-9 book i have ever read!!

I have a reactive dog, or should i say i had a reactive dog. After reading Ms. Brown's book, I applied the concepts to my dog and he is now a different dog. I can now take him to parks etc. without hesitation. I now have the confidence he won't act out. The knowledge I gathered from this book is priceless. I recommend it highly!!!! A+++++++++!

    Scaredy Dog is invaluable.

I took in a stray terrier who was very friendly to people, but as time went on, it became apparent that he had many issues causing him great anxiety and that he was very noise reactive. He also was easily overstimulated by other excited dogs getting too close to him. Scaredy Dog helped me recognize situations that might be hard for him to handle, and helped me form a plan of approach to make the confusing world around him become less frightening. By following Ali's suggestions, my bond with this little guy has become strong, and he is now able to handle the environment around him with a lot more ease. Scaredy Dog was a huge part of my learning how to help my dog cope with stress.

The Book Has Been a Huge Help For Me and My Dog

This book has helped to make a huge difference for my dog who was basically afraid of everything when we brought her into our home at about 5 months old. Enjoyable reading and full of great info from training tips to techniques for encouraging calm in your dog and more, this book is a must for anyone whose dog has reactive issues. I frequently reference the book for tips and ideas for handling challenges that my dog and I encounter along the way.
