About the Author

Michael Stivers was told the story of Scat the Cat many years ago. He thought it was a good way for students in his kindergarten class to learn the colors. He learned graphics programs to make Scat books for his class. He is now publishing it for other teachers and families to enjoy.He has taught preschool, elementary, adult, music, and special education classes. He published his experience teaching in a challenging school in Taught a Lesson. He lives in Culver City, California with his wife, Sandy.
