    Annoying Main Character

He wears the same suit daily through muck and mud, is rude to his boss and the people he investigates. He continually complains about lack of jobs due to the economy but it seems it's his attitude that limits him. He must be short and drive a big truck when he isn't investigating...

Good book except for the ending

Enjoyed this book, a bit wordy, but good plot. I didnt like the ending, unless there is another one coming out SOON!

    Too much repetition

This 800+ page book could have been done in less that half. Too much repeating dialog. The story was decent but waaaay to long.

This is the third book of the series

This is the third and so far last book of the series. I hope there are more. The first book was pretty good. So good, I bought the next two. The second one was okay. I was a little disappointed in it. This one was the best one of all. I totally enjoyed it. It was nicely edited, which is always a plus. The author left out all the ex cop stuff, which was fabulous. There was no whining or complaining by any of the characters as there was in the first two books. There is some sex, a good deal of murder, some pretty graphic rotting body descriptions, very few cuss words and a great plot. This book is 823 pages long. There was a touch of romance and a lot of suspense. I was surprized by the reason for the murders, a very unique twist, another very nice touch. This book is for both male and female readers. It is not a chick lit book. It is a heavy duty, murder mystery. I would say it is for readers 17 and up. I hope there is a fourth and more to come. This author has improved greatly. Montana or Ohio, where ever the hero ends up, I can not wait to find out what befalls Nathen and Amanda. I hope Amanda is in the next book.

    Really good book!

I really like the stories. Nathan once again finds himself surrounded by bodies. This one has a pretty exciting ending. I just wish he could hold on to a girl! I really enjoy this writer and already got his next one.
