This type of book was an excellent choice for my son. It has raised his interest in reading more difficult text without his being overwhelmed by chapter books.

My 7 year old wasn't too excited when he opened the book up on Christmas morning, but one day during Christmas break he was reading the book and kept running up to me and informing me of all the interesting facts he was reading...he read that book for at least an hour. He loves it now!

As a parent sharing this book with my child, it was hard to be enthusiastic about it. It was rather full of fluff.
