The arrangement and variety of the problem sets are very good, making the child really look at the problem to see if it is addition or subtraction. My child is motivated by my "grading" each page with appropriate comments.
Only complaint is that the first part of the book is really, really simple and not challenging for my child. But she likes doing the problems and is about halfway through the book. I can see improvement as she has begun to learn the math by rote and not use her fingers as much.
