Phyllis J. Perry is the recipient of the Colorado Author's League 2002 Award for best children's nonfiction book. She has over 30 years experience as an elementary school teacher and administrator and has worked as an instructional design specialist, director of talented and gifted education, and has served in teacher training and supervision.
