Book Picks
Review of First Edition"Talk about Power! If you can only buy one book this year, consider Phyllis Perry's A Teacher's Science Companion. Perry provides an extensive bibliography of science books in print for grades K through 6. Our copy is already dog-eared with many margin notes. Couple this book with your public library card and an interlibrary loan system and you have unlocked a world of knowledge for you and your students."
From The Critics
This resource for teachers of grades K-6 lists and give brief notes on some 2,000 science and math books for children, suggesting other print, video, and kit resources as well, and describes many ideas and activities that teach lessons on science and math.
