Picked up the paperback on the late '60s. It has been my constant companion for years. When TM training was made available in my area, my wife and I became TM students. I have meditated for over 36 years. It changed my life!

    Worth and recommended

Prior to reading Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's book the Science of Being and the Art of Living, I'd always known somewhere deep inside that the nature of life was more about seeking true happiness, joy and contentment...but to be honest I didn't know what that was. I knew it wasn't about buying the latest 'whatever' and being happy about it for a moment. As I read this book for the first time Maharishi's words validated that belief AND gave me knowledge and experience to actually access it. Whether you are seeking or feel you have found what you need, the dialog presented in this book is worth exploring.
