From bestselling author Kaitlyn Davis comes a paranormal romance perfect for fans of Twilight, The Vampire Diaries, and Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Scorch is the fourth and final book in the thrilling Midnight Fire Series, and it is approximately 65,000 words.

"All it did was remind Kira that time was running out. That she needed to choose. Or a lot more than a forest would burn. The whole world would crumble."

Aldrich escaped…again. Tristan forgot…everything. And Luke, well, Luke was getting more than a little impatient. But those were the least of Kira’s concerns, because something else happened in England—something she was trying desperately to forget. A wedge of evil had lodged itself in her heart, a little black hole had nestled into her flames, and it wasn’t going away—not anytime soon…and maybe not ever.

RAVE REVIEWS for the Midnight Fire Series!

"The writing is effortlessly mind blowing. I could not put this entire series down. Once you're hooked, you won't either because it'll eat you up not knowing what happened! And then you'll pick a team like I did and you'll fall in love with all the characters and you'll want all the bad guys to die horribly! Just trust me when I say it really is your loss to miss out on this series! It's a blaze of glory!" - Happy Tales and Tails Blog

"Kaitlyn Davis writes some of the best action scenes I have come across in a young adult book; they are fast paced and so well delivered making this more than just a silly romance." - Reflections of a Bookworm

"The only downside to this series, is that it ended. But the ending was beautiful." - My Seryniti

"Kira isn't a human girl who is one dimensional and in love with a vampire. She's a well-thought out character who comes to life from the pages and steals into your heart. Read the books. Do it." - Urban Girl Reader

"I love and hate how fast of a read this was! I love it because I couldn't get enough of of it and hate it because once I finished I wanted more!" - I Just Wanna Sit Here And Read

"I really enjoyed Ms Davis's writing, I was riveted throughout and was eager to see what would happen - there was drama, danger, action and romance that was wonderfully detailed and described." - Obsession With Books

"You'll make friends with Kira, choose sides with Tristan and Luke, and fall in love with the story at heart about a girl with so bright a future....even shades aren't gonna cut it." - Satisfaction for Insatiable Readers

This series had so many twists and turns, and this book was no different. Selfish love, unselfish love, the love of family, unexpected friends, and faith in yourself and others. The ending plot was exceptional! Kira, Luke and Tristan won't be the only ones left changed by the end of this story. :)

I read books 1-3 back to back a few months ago, while waiting for this installment to come out I read many less enjoyable books...getting to read this one was like reconnecting with old friends. Enjoyed it very much & look forward to more from this author!

I have enjoyed every book from this series but this book and the one before, were my favs because they keep picking up in more and more action, also I love the growth in kira, both her and her powers keep getting stronger and stonger... b And the whole woman hero bit that's been going aroundlately...shows how much the world has changed

You definately need to read each book in the series. The stories are well written and the characters are people you could relate to. Reading to me is an escape from reality....a place that takes you on a journey and keeps you held captive. Kira is an extremely strong willed individual. I don't know if I could have gone through as much as she did...having to choose between your best friend or the one who gives you that special feeling when he is near. How do you choose between something you are comfortable with, when the opposite is something dark and bad....but is taking over your life (inner demons). If someone is trying to kill either you or your family....would you be willing to put your life in jeapordy for another? How much are you willing to sacrafice? Read this series...you will not be disappointed!

I absolutley love this book. If you havent read Ignite, you must. I promise you will love it! You will get hooked on Kira, Tristan and Luke, the three main characters and their love triangle. You will not be disappointed as this is the final book of the series. A lot of twists and surprises but love will prevail!

I really loved the books in the Ignite series and i was waiting for this book and it was great the only thing that i was dissapointed in was who she ended up with :(

I was dissapointed. The whole time kira and tristian wanted a normal relationship with each other. The chance finally comes thier way and kira blows it off like it was no big deal. I literally cried when tristian lost the memories of her. They were perfect together. I hate that she ended up with luke.

O.k before I say anything. I have to let you know that I read the previous books. Ignite, simmer ect. and I LOVED them. It's a great series and I couldn't put them down. I was so anxious and couldnt wait for Scorch to come out. I was rooting for either Tristan or Luke in the end it didnt matter I loved them both. That's how good it was. With that being said I was also expecting this epic end and boy was I disappointed. Scorch was not whatcI was.expecting at all. I felt I dragged through the book and the whole time all I could think was wow this is so not a good read. The author def. Could have done a better job. All that wait and I was dissapointed.

This series was amazing. In my opinion, it was even better than the twilight series or any other books like it. The last book I had so many mixed emotions through it all, and I usually don't get emotional in books. I can't believe the series is over!! I wish the author would do one more story on how everything turned out!!

I haven't reaad this book yet but by reading the reviews i am really upset that kira ended up with luke. I think kira should have a more adventerous and interesting life with tristian than a boring comfortable life with luke: (
