Lindsay's story, boy oh boy this women has a black untrusting he

Lindsay's story, boy oh boy this women has a black untrusting heart but with good reason. She is hung-up on a old crush from her childhood that is always breaking her heart. She finds and meets and awesome guy in Greece when on holiday visiting her friend Emma during her movie shoot. Her and Dimi are instant.. sparks flying.. head over heals for each other, but.......... Lindsay can't see into her black heart far enough to realize what she is leaving behind.. Lots of heart ache in this book, make me cry a couple times I felt so bad for these characters that they just couldn't get it right... Excellent read.. again can't wait to finish this series.. Book one Scornfully Yours is currently Free = pick it up you'll want more :)

**Just Booked received an ARC for an honest review** Pamela Ann

**Just Booked received an ARC for an honest review**

Pamela Ann begins her fourth novel, Scorned, from the Torn series with two quotes from Bob Marley and Mother Teresa. Bob Marley’s
quote depicts Lindsey Mason’s struggles in the novel.

“If she's amazing, she won't be easy. If she's easy, she won't be amazing. If she's worth it, you won’t give up. If you give up, you're not
worthy. ... Truth is, everybody is going to hurt you; you just gotta find the ones worth suffering for.” – Bob Marley

Lindsey Mason wears an outer shield to protect herself from everyone. She has learned that her beauty has given her many advantages
too. She also knows what she wants, but sometime is too stubborn to remove her shield and let others close to her heart. Her shield
protects a childhood past that if people knew would taint her beauty and only show her ugly secrets inside.

Lindsey has also only had one childhood love, Brody. Brody is her brother’s best friend, but that has not been anything easy for Lindsey.
Brody has had his fair share of women, but now Brody has finally become interested her. Unfortunately, it is not going to be easy
    because she has a secret.

Lindsey is married to Dimitris Kosta, an actor and a wealthy Greek male god. Dimitris is a passionate and possessive man who
expresses his emotions even if the woman he loves shatters his heart. Dimitris is determined to fight for his wife, but will Lindsey learn
to trust her own heart before it is too late?

Mihi es et tibi sum – You are mine and I am yours

Pamela has written a great story about love and life, which leads to the second quote in the novel. The quote depicts Lindsey and her
struggles, but ultimately whom will Lindsey choose to fight for, Brody or Dimitris?

“Life is an opportunity, benefit from it.
     Life is beauty, admire it.
Life is a dream, realize it.
Life is a challenge, meet it.
Life is a duty, complete it.
Life is a game, play it.
Life is a promise, fulfill it.
     Life is sorrow, overcome it.
Life is a song, sing it.
Life is a struggle, accept it.
Life is a tragedy, confront it.
Life is an adventure, dare it.
     Life is luck, make it.
Life is too precious, do not destroy it.
Life is life, fight for it.” – Mother Teresa

A must read for all the true hot romantics. I give Pamela Ann a rating of 5 Flaming Hot Stars!
