About the Author

The author is himself Scottish and a former athlete. He is responsible for the official centenary publication of the Scottish Amateur Athletic Association ('Scottish Athletics', 1982) as well as an acclaimed biography of Scottish Olympic Champion and Christian missionary, Eric Liddell ('Running the Race', 2007, most recent edition 2020).
