It was interesting to read this old handbook. Was a GS and have my old handbook and it looked dated to me though I didn't realize how far GS had come. 5th grader used it in social science class as an example of society in the 20s -- after she read it on my Nook. She wants to take it to her GS meeting so the other scouts can see the change in badges and skills over the last century.

I'm going to my very first Girl Scout meeting tomorrow as a Cadett. I hope this book will give me some information. Wish me luck! :) xx
