Meet the Author

In a Scouting career spanning more than a quarter of a century, Mark Ray has participated in the program at almost every level: as a Cub Scout, a Boy Scout, a district executive, a Scout parent, a Wood Badge and National Jamboree staff member, and a Scoutmaster. Mark is an Eagle Scout, a Vigil Honor member of the Order of the Arrow, and a recipient of the Silver Beaver Award. A freelance writer based in Louisville, Kentucky, Mark is also the author of The Eagle Court of Honor Book.

I purchased this book three years while starting a new troop. The authur shares his experience as a scoutmaster. He tells you the things that worked for him. Also, he gives you ideas that are not taught in scout training.
