    Fantastic

This is one of the BEST books on journaling, not just for scrapbooks but diaries, journals, etc. She gives you easy-to-follow guidelines to help you turn your 'photo albums' into memoirs.

You can tell your family's story too!

I love to help people preserve family histories (including my own!). I picked up this book and haven't been able to put it down. The author takes the reader category by category through ideas for improving the quality of the story you tell through your scrapbook. The emphasis is on the STORY, not picture arrangement only. For those who feel that journaling is a big burden, this book is a MUST to help you get started and keep going. The author even shows how to be creative in titling pages as part of the story you're telling. Tips and comments are great throughout. It's an inspiring book I highly recommend! (I didn't particularly like the page layouts on the bottom of the pages--they just don't fit my style because I like more white space to journal.)
