Scratch and Solve Hangman does not work well for me. The scratch offs do not come off easily and distorts the letters under them. I would not buy another like this.

The scratch off is messy. Without any clues, it is not much fun as you can't use any skills to try to guess the answer. Out of 100, I got 2 without any hangman appearing. You just randomly guess vowels or letters. Would not purchase any more in the series.

The Scratch & Solve Hangman is great in all aspects but the mess. It fits in my purse and is great for the kids on car trips or waiting to pick up siblings as a time filler. But, scratching off the letter covering usually resulted in black fingers and smears. We tried using a coin to remove the covering but it wasn't effective. Not sure why this major part of the game was such a mess.

Difficult to use. Not worth it.

My 6 year old loves this book because it keeps her busy but she and I get very frustrated scratching out the letter blocks--TOO DIFFICULT! Scratch too hard and you put a hole in the paper...scratch too soft and the silver smudges and you never get to see the letter revealed. Good concept for a hangman book--but the material that you have to scratch needs improvement.

This book of puzzles is so great! There are quite a few challenging puzzles and also quite a few easy ones. I have this in my bag at all times and any time I am sitting and have a few minutes, I pull this book out and do a puzzle or two. My daughters (ages 7 & 3) love calling out letters and guesses while we're on road trips. It's a great way to pass the time and a great little entertainer.
