Two children learn about friendship when a mysterious hawk enters their lives. Very atmospheric with spooky houses, marshy swamps and native American folklore. A great read!

Belgue's prose is light and fresh and her characters bang-on. The town of Harmony Beach is one any child would love to live in, with its forbidding swamp and mysterious houses. A truly contemporary yet timeless novel that parents will love as much as their children.
