Scrooge & Cratchit is a "must" holiday read but certainly can be enjoyed at any time of the year. I found it a fitting "sequel" to 'A Christmas Carol' as it is well written in a prose that is faithful to the style and mood of the original. It deals with some of the same universal themes as the original, but in a fresh new way.
It's a quick, worthwhile read that gave me the same uplifting feeling I get each time I read or see an adaptation of 'A Christmas Carol.'
