This may work on other Android prodicts, but it's next to useless on the Nook HD+. All it really does is give you another way to get to "settings" on the Nook, which you can do just by tapping the small gear at the top of the normal Nook screen, anyway. There is no "unmount" selection in the Nook settings -- would have been nice if this app had included an "unmount" button. The app icon appears at the top of the screen where "notifications" usually appear. It allegedly gives you the remaining memory available on teh SD card, but it really doesn't -- if you put a new SD card in without turning off the Nook, it continues to display the available memory for the card that you removed.
About the only thing that it does do is to beep if you remove the SD card without "unmounting" -- but since there's no option on the Nook to "unmount", this is pretty useless; you already know that you took the card out, without the beep.
If you're using a Nook, this is a waste of money and memory.
