Overview

Three: Enter a world where nothing is what it seems. Where your closest friend could be your greatest enemy. Kevin Parson is driving his car late one summer day when, suddenly, his cell phone rings. A man who identifies himself as Slater speaks in a breathy voice: You have exactly three minutes to confess your sin to the world. Refuse, and the car you're driving will blow sky high. Kevin panics. Who would make such a call? What sin? Kevin ditches the car. Precisely three minutes later, a massive explosion sets his world on a collision course with madness. From the #1 best-selling fiction author comes a powerful story of good, evil, and all that lies between.

Obsessed: A deadly tale of ultimate obsession. Stephen Friedman is making a good living in good times. He's just an ordinary guy. Or so he thinks. But one day an extraordinary piece of information tells him differently. It's a clue from the grave of a Holocaust survivor. A clue that makes him heir to an incredible fortune...a clue that only he and one other man can possibly understand. That man is Roth Braun, a serial killer who has been waiting for Stephen for thirty years. Roth was stopped once before. This time nothing will get in his way. Known worldwide for page-turning, adrenaline-laced thrillers, Dekker raises the stakes in this story of passion, revenge, and an all-consuming obsession for the ultimate treasure.

I started reading thre3 and thought it was just a normal thriller where theres an assassin after a guy. I was soooo wrong! You dont know whats really happening until the last few chapters. I cant thank dekker enough! Being a strong Christian myself i can never find any good Christian books. Im now attached to dekkers books. I havent finished obsessed yet but i have high hopes. Obsessed starts out really boring but you should keep reading. Thanks i hope this helped someone.

I am currently reading Obsessed. Was a very slow start imo, rather dull. After about 10 chapters, I now love it. I cannot wait to find out about the stones and Esther! Thr3e was quite thrilling, the psychological twist was awesome. I couldn't put it down. Tip- the movie is poorly made and not like the book.

Last Breath Motel
In the middle of nowhere, a gloomy motel sat by the side of the road. It was a very dark, rainy, stormy night and the road stretched on an on and on both ways without a single stop except 'Last Breath Motel' and a gas station a few miles over. Twelve people and a cat were at this motel. The keeper of the motel, John, was out of town on some sort of 'buisiness' trip.
There were only three people for the staff. Matti Alesing, room service, Bert Rob, chef, and Clieci Opal Rose, the cleanup. The guests were Rosa Smiths, Oliver Krin Burmute, Dr. Drake, Mrs. Hyultide, Borbert Swill, Olivia McDravegon, Joe Frump, Sylvester Slifogs, and Sorburt Beet Lurge. There was also the white cat, Tiffani.
"Wouldn't it be terrible to spend your last days in this dump." Dr. Drake said, looking around at the pathetic motel.
No one responded.
The white cat hissed at the people.
"Stupid cat." Joe grumbled.
"You have to forgive the poor dear. She always gets neglected when guests arrive." An old lady, Cleici, said.
Joe grumbled and turned away, receiving another hiss from old Tiffani and a crossed look from Cleici.
"He botherin' ya?" A man said, a knife shining in his hand.
"No. And goodness Bert, will you put that down! You'll scare the guests away!"
(Sorry it's so short. But, you'll never guess!)

Both of these books were great and totally different. The twist at the end was unexpected. Dekker is an amazing writer. The suspense will keep you up all night reading, because you want to see what happens next.
