Meet the Author

Doug Alderson has been a contributing member of Paddle Canada (formerly CRCA) since the inception of the national sea kayaking program. Formerly a Coach-3 in the British Canoe Union system, he is currently chairman of Paddle Canada's Sea Kayak Program Development Committee. He is the author of three other kayaking books, including Sea Kayak Around Vancouver Island (Rocky Mountain Books).
