Lady Patience Kendall crossed the sea to marry, but her intended died before she arrived. Only one way to get home: charge four hapless American Colonials to find them titled husbands in London. At the ship, she realized their mothers expected each to wed the Marquess of Andover, so she’d have to seek an introduction. How hard could it be?

Most incredible book ive read. I have found my new favorite author, and book. Romance, witts, action, excitment, and unstoppsble page turning. I recoment this book for anyone above the age of 18. I felt that the romance scenes couldbe considered graphic for someone under that age, or someone would ne immature about it. Either eay, this book was incredible, and i recoment this author to anyone who likes a good romance, and entertaining battles of eitts and words.

I really enjoyed this story. Grant and Patience both have had family issues when they were younger which jaded them when it comes to love and marriage. Their tale across the ocean on their way to England and the months that follow, will make you laugh and cry. Great sexual tension and a well written storyline make this book impossible to put down. Another winner by this author.

This story held my attention and was romantic and riveting. I had a hard time leaving it to go to work and other activities. Lady Patience was promised to a man in America and when she arrived he was dead. She meets and starts taking charge of 4 young women that she is assigned to find matches for back in England when she returns to England. The Captain the ship that she takes back to England is intriguing and Lady Patience and the Captain challenge each other constantly. When they get to England he finds a way to help her make the matches and their romance develops. There are many exciting escapades that each of the girls keeps Lady Patience and the Captain busy.

I was actually disappointed that the author didnt write about patience and grants wedding night. After all the writing building up to it, it was a total let down that she skipped right over the main event. It killed what could have been a great story. I felt cheated.

It started great. The theme, the characters, the plot... but somehow it fell apart, you stop feeling tne connection, the H-H issues become repetitive and the ending feels rushed. I also think I've read this book before or one very similar to it.
