Sea Scribe by D.I. Telbat, is a modern-day action-adventure and underground Christian mission, set in North Korea, the Pacific, and the Sea of Japan. We meet Troy Forge who has been stabbed 47 times, but every ounce of his faith is tested as he lives to hate the man who scarred and damaged him for life.

As a storm brews across the high seas, Troy, though still suffering from pain and loss, sets sail in his customized catamaran on a dangerous smuggling mission. Just days after leaving California's West Coast, the voyage proves to be anything but a smooth trip. Facing many risks and dangers, Troy makes discoveries that change his life forever, including an opportunity for revenge.

Contraband smuggler Merrick Jolan is hot after Troy to kill the Christian sailor by way of Russian bodyguard, Dmitri Volkov. But if Troy cannot meet the Elephant on time, the Christian underground network may crumble.

Ho Kichun—cut off from the outside world—is a networker for the Christian underground inside North Korea. As he travels secretly through the mountainsides serving the persecuted, he prays to meet a covert contact—if Kichun isn't killed by an assassin first!

Laura Zisk leaves in her wake a broken past that she refuses to face. A professed atheist, she tries to run as far from her life as she can, only to be confronted with the hardest test of her being.

Sea Scribe—a 67,000 word stand-alone suspense novel by D.I. Telbat, with cover by Streetlight Graphics—reveals the high-octane boldness of Christians who risk everything to assist their foreign brothers and sisters in underground danger and suspense! This high seas adventure will leave you gasping for air as the stormy deep threatens to drown God's people on a new frontier: the forbidden waters off North Korea's east coast. And once again, we see that without sacrifice, there is no redemption.

Included: A Glossary of Terms, FREE downloads, and Bonus Chapter 1 of Dark Liaison, a Christian Suspense Novel, Book One in the COIL Series by D.I. Telbat.

Meet the Author

D. I. Telbat is a Christian author who writes in many genres, but especially Christian action-adventure, espionage, and suspense. He wrote his first novel at age 14, and hasn't stopped since!

David's hours are spent doing what he loves—writing and Christian ministry.

Getting into trouble with the law as a young man became a turning point in David's life. The Lord used that experience to draw David into a personal relationship with Him. Re-focusing his life, David now seeks to honor God with his life and his writing.

On his Telbat's Tablet website, David offers his free weekly Christian adventure and suspense short stories, or serialized novels, his author reflections, writing experiences, and occasional challenges to the Christian Church. His desire is to entertain, but to also bring attention to the Persecuted Church, therefore, many of D.I. Telbat's stories are about persecuted Christians—their hardships, their sacrifices, and their rescues.

There is no redemption without sacrifice.
