Mark McNulty has dedicated his career to working with children of all ages. He has worked as an elementary school teacher in two states and made multiple author visits to schools and reading groups. He has also organized creative writing workshops in grades two through eight. He continues to work on his writing from his home in Massachusetts, creating new stories that will be enjoyed by children and adults alike.
His writing and his teaching are both supported by his own education. He holds two Bachelor's degrees from Boston College: one in elementary education and moderate special needs, the other in communications. He also holds a Master's degree in education from Fitchburg State College. He continues to enroll in graduate level courses and attend various writing workshops or conferences to expand his own learning.
When he is not writing or working, Mark enjoys many interests and hobbies. These include fishing, snorkeling, skiing, boating, and vacationing on New Hampshire's Lake Winnipesaukee. Mark also likes to travel whenever he has the opportunity. Among his favorite destinations are the Caribbean Islands, Florida's Gulf Coast, San Diego, and Galway, Ireland. Finally, he is an avid sports fan. The Boston Red Sox, Bruins, Patriots, and Celtics are all very close to his heart, along with his Boston College Eagles.
