Meet the Author

I studied English Literature at Carleton University. Since then I have developed an indescribably aimless resume.

I have worked as a security guard, a Court Services Officer, a model, an actor, a teacher of English as a second language, a project coordinator for an NGO, and a Research Officer with the Government of Canada.

I have eaten whale in Iceland, live octopus in South Korea, and beaver tail in Canada.

I am a working writer and have had pieces published in Micro Horror, Weird Year, The Midwest Literary Magazine, and the “Off Season” anthology.

I currently reside in Montreal, Quebec.

Good short stories, but also a preveiw of a book.

Normally I don't care for flash stories as they seem more sketchy drafts than complete tales. But these were didn't feel that way. I've already read Deer Lake and highly recommend it!

The only story I didn't like was Birth Day.

That way he can tell the second half of these stories and explain whats suposed to be happening. The first two especially seem like he started them, got tired or bored, and said ehh, good enough. Seafood especially stunk! It was basically a halfway decent opening for a story. The writting itself dosen't seem bad but the author needs to make more of an effort to explain/illuminate the plot.

There are a couple short stories tho can you really call something less than a page a story, couple are more like an incomplete thought. But then you get a preview for a book and that is a couple chapters and takes up 95% of this book. If you want a book preview get this if you were in the mood for a couple good short stories look elsewhere.
