Here is a copy of the email I sent Barns and Noble: I recently purchased 'Search Engines: The Step By Step to Successfully Promoting a Web Site'. This book is 5 years out of date and has no business being sold from a reputable bookstore as Barns & Noble. Not only is there no mention of the worlds most important search engine, Google, many of the techniques mentioned will get sites thrown out of just about all the major search engines today. The book sends the user to a web site with a username and password for additional secure information. The secure area is no longer available to the user and the email addresses for the site in question do not work. The information contained in this book is not only severely dated but potentially harmful to the reader. Kindly refund my money for this purchase, and please remove it from your selection. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
