This is the second book in the Seasons of Magick series

Welcome to Morrigan’s Cauldron! But be careful what you ask for because this little Greenwich Village shop can deliver your heart’s desire. Or your greatest nightmare.

Shan Wong thought when she broke up with her boyfriend Mark, he couldn’t hurt her anymore…until she discovers he’s planned his revenge on her by committing suicide and turning himself into a kiang shi—a zombie with super-human powers.

Jamal Washington has loved Shan since they were children. When he thinks he finally has a chance with her, her ex comes back from the dead to kill her…and anyone who gets in the way. Is the ancient sword the magick shop owner gave him enough to stop Zombie Mark? And is Jamal brave enough to win Shan’s love as well as save her life?

Meet the Author

Suzan Harden grew up on a working farm in Ohio Amish country, though she’s not Amish. Mucking out pig stalls gives a girl lots of time to make up stories, but with a practical family, writing wasn’t considered a practical employment option. However, according to her Career Line on her palm, she’ll have three primary careers in her life. Writing is the last one. She currently lives in southeastern Texas with a husband who believes writing is a practical career option, a kid who thinks she’s too enamored with zombies, and a beagle who wants his belly scratched.

    Hot, Hot, Hot

I love this series Ms. Harden has written...Summer is about young love, finding the right one, and waiting for that right one. Jamal and Shan, best friends since kindergarten, are thrown into an impossible situation that puts their friendship and love to the test. To survive, they must trust each other...in every way!

The cast of characters in this series is so well done, I can't wait until the next installment.

    A great Spring Read!

I so love this short story. Ms. Harden does a terrific job in this SPRING installment of Seasons of Magick. The characters are likeable, even the meddlesome Rain. The connection between Adrian and Tessa is hot and compelling. But when their pasts threaten to get in the way of their relationship and their future, as it does so many times in real life, they find a way to get past the betrayal, the loss, and the pain by trusting each other. I can't wait for SUMMER.
