Meet the Author

Born in Los Angeles in the middle of the last century, Brian Jackson has always dreamed of being a writer. After decades spent working in the computer industry, Brian retired early and to pursue that dream. Brian lives in the California foothills with his wife, a published author named Melanie Jackson, Alpine the dog, and Snowy the cat. Melanie and her husband, also a writer, live in the California Gold Country with their cat (also a writer who has a page on myspace) and their dog (who is hoping to get a page on facebook as soon as she masters typing). Melanie likes gardening but hates the deer who also like her garden, and she volunteers at a local animal shelter.

    more from this reviewer

This is what dreams are made of.

'Nic' Smith is the owner of Hynpos, Inc. and has been given the assignment to go into the Narcosphere and find a missing yoga class before their bodies die. As difficult as this task it, it is only made more challenging and frightening when she becomes aware that she can see into the mind of the Meridian Killer while he is committing his murders. She must not only find the dream selves of the yoga students before they die, she must also find the Meridian killer before he finds HER!.

This series is growing in the richness of imagery and the story lines are unique and original. The Narcosphere is a seductive landscape that pulls you into it and makes you not want to leave. Nic is the perfect guide to get you in and get you out.

I personally would love to see this series on the big screen. I am still casting this in my mind, but it needs to be big budget to handle the special effects to do justice to this.
