This was a well written, very believeable book! It had everything you could want in a book to keep you interested. I loved both leads, I loved the tension (good tension) between the two and how no matter what happened they put the kids and their feelings FIRST. I love the supporting cast and the strong sisterhood and family first theme that resonated throughout this story. I hope to read more books like this one from this author. The love scenes were HOT as well! Great read all around. :)

This is my first Victoria Wells novel, but definitely wont be my last! Loved the characters - primary and supporting! The story and dialogue was very real and the romance was steamy without being over the top. I want to go back and read the others' stories now.

Victoria Well's 4th Book in her Series "Love Conquers All" truly does reveal that Love "Can" and "Does" Conquer All. Karen and Dominic are two people who deserves a "Second Chance at Love," and unexpectantly finds true love in each other's arms! Ms. Wells pens a superb page turner full of romance, passion, love, jealousy and conflict. Returning with her strong Alpha Male Characters (Nick, Kevin, Langston) and their wives (Summer, Starr, Ava) while adding "Take No Prisoners" Grandparents , who practices "no holds barred" in giving love and bedroom advice, babysitting and true encouragement. Ms. Wells will have you laughing your behind off, crying your eyes out and ready to jump into the book and "whoop" someone's butt, while loving the many antics of the cute, adorable, and very charismatic grandchildren playing junior matchmakers.
I highly recommend this novel, with only one disclaimer....You must read her first three books in her series, "A Special Summer," "When Love Comes Around," and "Key to My Heart," which will introduce you to the many versatile characters and entertaining supporting cast that fills this series with true and pure unconditional LOVE that Will Conquer All!

The story of Karen and Dom is a feel good love story. We've watched these two struggle with their feelings for one another in previous books in the Love Conquers All series. To finally read their love story was exciting. As you read, you fall in love with Dom right along with Karen and her children. Dom is a protector, a provider, a great lover, and a wonderful father figure who wants to become more to Alicia and Kyle. Dom knew that when it came to Karen, he had to approach her in a different way so he took his time in pursuing her and her children. The children already felt a certain way about Mr. Dom, getting Karen to accept that and open herself to the possibilities of a relationship with him was a challenge. You get the opportunity to catch up on the lives of the supporting cast of characters from previous books in this series. While they all had their own stories, they help to enrich this one without overpowering it. You feel like you are in this circle of friends and family experiencing everything right along with them. There are some mouth-dropping moments that will make you laugh, want to pop someone, leave you shocked and overjoyed. This story gives me hope that there is a second chance at finding real love again; a love even greater than the first. Can't wait to see what else Mrs. Wells has in her bag of books for us to read! Be sure to read the other books in the Love Conquers All series! You won't be disappointed :)

Karen is a young widowed mother of two young children, Kyle and Alicia. Her focus are her children and not dating. Dominic doesn't want a long term relationship as he has recently moved back to his home town. While getting to know her kids, Dominic is also trying to get close to Karen. Even though Karen dreams and fantasizes about Dominic she is very hesitant of getting close to him.
THOUGHTS
This was my second book by this author that I truly enjoyed. Although I have only read 2 out of 4 of her books in the series, I have fallen in love with it and it's characters. My first introduction to the series was the last and pervious book, Key to My Heart. From reading that book I got to know a little about Dom and Karen as well as a brief teaser. In this story we got another wonderful romance that includes family and friends. For a Second Chance at Love the author gave us a great opening/ prologue that brought a smile and blush to my cheeks. Even though we know they knew each other from the pervious book, I liked that the prologue showed us their actual meeting. The interaction between Dom and Karen really got me excited as I enjoyed their chemistry. The beginning of chapter 3 sets the pace for the book for both characters. Dom's relationship with Alicia and Kyle was amazing. Being a father figure and his interaction with them made him even sexier to me. I enjoyed seeing everyone from the pervious story and it makes me look forward to reading the first two books in the series. It's not much but Dom's parents Janet and Dominic, I enjoyed the brief history the author gave us on how they met. Lastly, the plot of the story gave us two greedy characters that added an interesting twist to the story.
A reference in the book about the tv show Who the Bleep did I Marry?I love that show it's crazy but good.
Story: GOOD
Intimacy: REALLY GOOD
Enjoyment: GOOD

A Second Chance at Love is the fourth installment of the Love Conquers All series. Here we get see Dominic ("Dom") a devote bachelor who has been hurt by love and Karen a widowed mom of two who thinks a second go at love is not for her come togeether. Dom is very patient, persistent and knows what he wants. He to become a permanent part of Karen and kids' lives and being the Alpha male that he is nothing and no one is getting in his way. I think Dom is my new fav when it comes to Ms. Victoria's heroes. This story was so good that I stayed up until two in the morning just to finish it. There were moments were literally laughed out loud and was hot and bothered the next. You also get to check in with characters from the previous stories in the series which only adds to the story not take away from it. Ms. Victoria has once again put together a wonderful story. Looking for to the next! *clapping*
