Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Kristin Harris
Secret codes allow us to send secret messages. Although brief references are made to the use of secret codes in history, this is primarily a how-to book for kids who want to create and use their own codes. A story is told throughout the book that can be followed by the reader only by using the demonstrated codes. There are systems of codes based on the alphabet, grids, calendars, numbers and dots. Although it is a relatively short book, it is stocked full of fascinating information for a kid with any interest in puzzles.
