The name Ammann is akin to Adam, as in "Tax Farmer/Administrator"...I am loving
your book "Secret Geneology"...it is really neat to be able to put a face to the
voice of the author, I can hear you Suellen thru the written word, it is like we are
having a conversation, lol, what else have you written/"Wroten"? "

I finished your book [Secret Genealogy] because it was very interesting and a fun read. It does make one wonder about the world - surely so many people have Jewish ancestors somewhere along their family tree. At first I was doubtful but as I read it much of it became more likely. Your research leads you into so many interesting areas. I think the book has many fascinating facts.

Girl! I got the book today and have not put it down! I know of two Jewish
lines, already in my family; one of these left with Huguenots in Amsterdam
for the US in 1738 (settled in Carolinas). Your book points out other
clues that I have pondered over; the lions on many crests, all of the
Jewish "given" names (one even called "Shebboleth"), my mid-eastern
blood-line, Scotch-Irish clues, Moores ...

I Enjoyed reading your Book" Secret Genealogy" very much and learned a few things I was unaware of. Have you looked into the DNA aspects of any of this? I have been involved in DNA research and genealogy for the past ten years. Originally utilizing Y-STR and Mitochondrial and currently using Autosomal testing. Much of what you say in your book has been confirmed with these tests.

Thank you Suellen for writing this book. Quite by accident I discovered what I thought were Jewish ancestors, but couldn't understand why no one ever told us. Thanks to this book, I don't have to feel that I'm just imagining all of the things I thought about these ancestors. I'd love to know more, but will likely never be able to prove/document this ancestry. Never the less, I now know it is there, who they likely were, and why we weren't told!

Meet the Author

Fascinated with the secrets of the ancients and the cryptic ways they concealed their ethnicities and affiliations to Secret Societies, Suellen enjoys recreating their lives and ancient paths. "I accumulated years worth of research for my historical fiction, 'The Lies of the Lion', so I created a non-fiction genealogical reference book entitled, 'Secret Genealogy' to work as a companion to the novel. Since the novel was about people hiding their ethnic roots, I thought a reference book providing more details, would benefit the readers." Suellen Ocean makes her home in the Sierra Nevada Foothills.
