    I finally understand my dog!!!

This definitly needs a part 2. It is easy to read and makes a lot of sense. Great for anyone that looks at their dog and says "what is going through your head" or "Why do you do that?!"

My dog is no longer a mystery!

I think most dog owners want to know why dogs do the seemingly strange things they do -- especially things that tend to annoy other people and dogs. This book breaks down all of these behaviors and explains them in short chapters that are organized in a way that makes it easy to find the subject you're looking for. Now me and my dog have a better understanding of each other -- and I actually feel like I can communicate better with him in ways that he understands -- aside from the whole sniffing butts thing -- which is where I draw the line! You should buy this book -- your dogs will give you lots of back rolls and kisses!

If you want to learn more about who you're living with, grab a coyp of The Secret Lives of Dogs.

The Secret Lives of Dogs not only gave me insight into what my Grandoggies were up to, but stimulated my awareness of a whole lot of other things going on with them while their outside playing. It explained their cute behaviors as well as those I dare not discuss.
If you every wondered about what your dog was doing and stretched your imagination to wonder why, this book is for you. It's all in there. Pick a subject, look in the contents and there's your explanation. I especially appreciated the titles of different topics written in bold. I could flip through the book and start with the ones most prominent in our household. The short, concise explanations are great for quick, easy read. If you're like I am, you won't be able to stop yourself from sharing the information with others. Did you know: "he sits on your lap so you won't get away without him." The Secret Lives of Dogs is an enjoyable book for everyone no matter if you are a boy or girl, man or woman, a young child or a grown professional. All you need is cuiosity.

    I Also Recommend:

If you own a dog, you'll love this book!

This is a very insightful book into the "why" dogs do what they do, with an amusing response to these furry creatures that have captured our hearts. The author's frequent pithy insight is bound to leave you smiling, if not laughing out loud. I would say my only criticism is that there are areas left untouched or not elaborated enough, which still leave you wanting. However, that being said, this book is well worth the money and I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who loves dogs.

    The Secret Lives of Dogs

My grandson got a new puppy for Christmas and I thought this would be an interesting book for he and his father to read together (he is 6 years old). Before I wrapped it up I decided to read it and was amazed and amused with the facts that were included in this little book. I think that it would be helpful for anyone who owns a dog to have this information. It was presented in an easily readable format and helped me understand many of the habits my own dogs have displayed. A fun and informative read.
