As a newly married woman on her second marriage, I snapped up this book in a heartbeat. The title is very intriguing, but the women are not. Seven stories in, and I still found no woman that was likeable. There are women that cheat constantly, another that lives continents apart from her husband, and one writer accepts a blatant infidelity from her lover, and tries to end the story happily three paragraphs later. It seems that in the quest to find the most outlandish example of a marriage, the editor forgot to include any semblance of the everyday woman. At least one or two of these interspersed with the others would have made the book something could connect the reader to the material. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
