Small but Powerful: Michael Berg Reveals The Secret

Imagine a body of ancient wisdom that has been kept hidden for thousands of years. A treasury of concealed teachings that have the power to fundamentally transform not only your life, but the lives of everyone around you, instantly, and forever....

If there were such wisdom, and if you came upon a document that brought you into possession of those teachings, what would you do with the power that was now in your hands? Would you keep it to yourself, or would you want to share it with the world as quickly and efficiently as possible?

For me, these are much more than mere philosophical questions. I've come into possession of exactly the kind of revolutionary knowledge I've just described -- and I most definitely wish to share it with the world, which I've done in my book, The Secret. In fact, sharing itself is the very essence of this wisdom. Through acts of giving and sharing -- and even more important, by developing a consciousness of sharing every day and every moment -- you can gain the ultimate joy and fulfillment that is the true purpose of your life.

Regarding this, there's one point that I especially want to emphasize. You've no doubt heard that sharing what you have is a positive thing to do. Starting in kindergarten, you were taught to share your toys and crayons, and later you read that "it's better to give than to receive." But The Secret views sharing from a very different perspective. Specifically, sharing is described in these pages as an act of self-interest in the most basic sense. By giving something to others -- whether it's a material object, or emotional support, or spiritual insight -- we ourselves cannot only receive, but can be fundamentally transformed at the deepest level of our being.

Let me try to be as clear as possible about this. I'm certain there have already been times when you've felt connected with the energy of sharing. At the end of the year, for example, we observe Christmas and Hanukkah. Rather than being consumed with our own thoughts, we focus for a few weeks on the needs of others and we feel fullness sharing brings us. Yet this is only a glimpse of the ultimate joy and fulfillment that accompanies transformative sharing, as The Secret describes.

Transformative sharing is a continuing sense of unity with something beyond yourself. So The Secret is concerned with something more than holiday moments that come and go. It's about a permanent and irreducible connection with the true source of fulfillment. The joy that comes with transformative sharing isn't like a flashbulb that suddenly illuminates the landscape, only to leave it in darkness a moment later. The Secret's joy is like a candle that never burns out, a flame that never so much as flickers. Its warmth and light are for always. It's a feeling that's difficult to put into words, but I can promise you this: you'll know it when you experience it.

This is a small book. You can read in just an hour or so. But when you reach the last page, the most powerful tool of the world's oldest spiritual wisdom will really be in your hands. You'll know exactly what it takes to realize the joy and fulfillment that are divinely intended for you. In order to realize that destiny for yourself -- and through you, for all mankind -- I hope you'll let me share The Secret with you as soon as possible. Michael Berg

    Wonderful story telling

The best part of this book from the Kabbalah Centre is the stories. Michael passes down Kabbalist wisdom through storytelling of past mystics and rabbis who have opened up channels for us all to receive light.
