Now, after many years, you return to the house that holds so many fond memories for you, with a promise from Grandpa to show you something truly amazing. You can't even begin to imagine what it could be!
It's a dark and stormy night as you arrive at Grisly Manor. The rain beats down hard, lightning flashes in the sky as the sound of thunder fills your ears. You already feel a little creeped out, but when you make your way inside, the house is curiously empty. Grandpa is nowhere to be found!
But his presence is everywhere.
Familiar objects have been re-engineered to create puzzles for you. Clues abound, and as each puzzle is solved, the solution to others present themselves. As well as new puzzles, of course.
Grandpa obviously spent a lot of time making sure that nobody could solve the myriad of puzzles strewn about the house. Nobody but you, his favorite grandchild…

I bought this app because it had so many good reviews, and I wasn't disappointed! In this game you have to explore a house to try to unravel the mystery of what happened to your grandfather. Each tap brings something new to explore.
This game does have some cons. There are a couple of crucial points where many people seem to get stuck. I did use a walkthrough from the Internet once when I was really stuck.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this game to anyone seeking a fun brain-bender. I eagerly await the sequel.

This was a very entertaing game for me. It took me awhile to do it but I am elderly and not as swift as I once was, but it sure was fun and I would recommend it highly for those wanting a challenge. I hope they have more available soon.

I enjoyed this game very much. It took me about 2 hours total to get through it but it was a very FUN two hours. There was a lot of backtracking from room to room, upstairs to downstairs, and inside to outside but that made it all the more interesting. Trust me, you will get VERY acquainted with all the rooms in the house. There was a lot of thought that went into the making of this game.

Although this game is really cool its too short i know i gave it a five star rating but they need to come out with a part 2 of Grisly Manor!!!!! :D

Great game. I stuck on some of the clues, but eventually i got them. Game needs to have more levels it was too short.

This game reminded me of the original MYST, the kind of game i love. Nice, relatively challenging puzzles, which bring a sense of satisfaction when solved. My only (minor) gripe was that it ended suddenly. I would have liked continuing levels. Will be on lookout for part II!

My 13 yo son and I loved this game. He has continued it over and over trying to beat his "time" on it and see how quickly he can do it, but we wish someone on here knew of other "puzzle" games similar to t his. We have a long Christmas vacation with inlaws coming up and for both of us to sit with our Nooks and play a puzzle game would be far better than subjecting ourselves to inlaws! :) This game moves quick, thanks to the 2 hints on this review board otherwise we may not have finished it so quickly. Had no problems loading, playing or understanding this game. All in all would totally recommend this game to anyone. It was a good brain tickler and not so difficult that a 13 yo boy would give up and put it down. :)

This was definately worth the .99 I paid. I love games like this, however, it was just too short and ended abruptly. I hope the next one is longer and more challenging. Very entertaining.

I love the wooden birds. The one on the right END is facing the right all the way the one next to it is facing left but not all the way. The one next to that one(on the left) is facing forward the last one is facing right not all the way. You will retrive the fuse that is all I can tell you.

I loved figuring out the clues and secret compartments. I was bummed when i finished. I thought we'd get to go on more adventures as grandpa traveled.
