I thought the book had characters that were very believable. The book kept me reading with all the exciting(boat gets tampered with) and mysterious(the note) parts. The book is a great book for kids that dont like to read. There is a great lesson in this book I found it and I hope you can to. The plot was when they found the people in the counterfieting it was clear. The book is about a countfieting business. The business gave countfiet $20 bills to the Hardy boy's friends. When they find a lot of clues and the clues lead up to an old mill. The mill was fixed up for a plant that was built there. When the hardys search in it they find that the operation was in the mill. They later find out that two workers there were in the counterfieting. They ended up getting capured with the help of there friends.

I really liked the part where they find a tunnel leading to the old mill. This wasn't my favorite of the Hardy Boys' books I've read, but it was right up there.

Im eleven and finished this and number one in four days. Normaly i hate mystery but ive read most the books in my school library so grabbed my nook and tried. It opened up so much excitment, mystery, and adventure into my life instead of PlayStation. I highly recommend it and am going to go start number three!
