I could not put this down. The story was so enthralling and the author tells the story as if she is the character herself. Amazing!

Too bad the psychologist from Maryland can't enjoy a book for what it is meant to be...a temporary diversion from everyday life. The storyline is great, the characters are well developed, the scenery made me wish this was my cottage (home away from home) and yes...even the sex was gratuitous...congrats Elizabeth.

This book takes place at a house called Villa Minosa, California, and Hawaii. A large part is involved with explicit sex that is boring to anyone who is familiar with the subject. If this is what you enjoy reading, this book is for you. The character development in the second portions of the book is interesting, and leads the reader to hope. However, the ending is weak. The themes in the book of greed for money and possessions v.s. truth and responsibility as options are not brought to a conclusion.
