Secret Paradise 3 out of 5 based on 0 ratings. 5 reviews.

When I first read the synopsis of this story, I did not know that “Secret Paradise” was connected to “All I Want Is You” which I read last year. I did enjoy “Secret Paradise” somewhat. I would give the story a 3.2 to 3.4 rating out of 5. The plot of the story started off really well. I perceived the mystery with Lucian and Alana and what really happen to her. As the story progressed, the plot got way too confusing. Instead of Alana being just a character foil, she became a part of the story and taking away from what was actually happening with Lucian and Nikki. All the story did was talked about Alana and it was so aggravating. Lucian definitely had a conflict with himself and certainly needed to set himself free. I wanted to know more about his injuries. The story only stated the certain facts when the secondary characters would mention something. He was shown in the book as careful and intelligent, but I did not see that. He and Dante should have realized what was truly going on in that house. For example, Callia had issues that were going on which I felt could have been handle differently, since the killer had too much power. This book needed more pages because the plot went all over the place. I did like the setting of the book. I only wish I could have experience the island through the words. Furthermore, the romance with Lucian and Nikki was just mediocre. This book did not show the physical connection the main characters had with each other. Read this story for yourselves and I hope you enjoy it.

I love this book! It shows that no matter what kind of scars you have, there is still love out there.

This one was a miss. The plot was way too far fetched.
