Marc R. Chambers Biography
Thank you for taking the time to view my profile. To tell you a little about me, I was born on the South Side of Chicago. I lived the first six years of his life in Chicago's South Shore, South Side community. When I was six, my mother moved us to Park Forest Illinois to help me cope with my asthma. By the time I was ready to start high school, my asthma was much better and my mother moved us back to Chicago, where we settled in Chicago's well known Kenwood/Hyde Park community.
Once back in Chicago, I attended and graduated from Kenwood Academy High School. After graduating from Kenwood Academy High School, I entered Edward Waters College in Jacksonville Florida. While attending Edward Water College I made several friends I still keep in contact with. I was also introduced to African American Greek organizations while attending Edward Waters College. In the fall of nineteen eighty eight, I was initiated into Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Incorporated through our Delta Psi chapter. Soon after becoming a member of Kappa Alpha Psi I transferred to and graduated from Morehouse College. In 2008 I decided to start composing my first novel titled, Love Slaves. I finished my novel and self published Love Slaves on October 2011. Soon after publishing Love Slaves I started composing my next novel, Secrets, An Urban Love Story. In 2009, I entered Keller Graduate School of Management and on December 20th 2012, I earned my MBA. In the spring of 2014 I published Secrets, An Urban Love Story. Currently I am very active with The Richton Park Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Incorporated. The Nupes and I are strong advocates for community service. My work with my fraternity allows me to fulfill some of my obligation to the African American community.
I want to thank you again for taking the time to read my Bio.
