Meet the Author

Liliana Hart spent five years teaching music in the public education system. She molded America’s youth, busted kids for smoking pot in the restrooms, and broke up illicit affairs behind the stage on a regular basis, so she finally decided to hang up her hat and let someone else have all the fun. (Liliana’s Addison Holmes Mystery Series, about a small town teacher who gets into a whole lot of trouble, is somewhat autobiographical, but she won’t confess to which parts).

Liliana began reading romance novels with all her new found free time, and when she ran out of things to read, she decided to write her own novels. The result was a 150,000 word thriller--a dazzling adventure--where the heroine was a thirty-year-old virgin assassin (Yes, you read that right). She couldn’t imagine why people weren’t knocking down her door to read it, but she persevered and began writing a second book. She finally got the hang of things, and eventually learned that losing one’s virginity wasn’t all that romantic after all. All of her books involve some kind of suspense (she just can't help herself), laughter, and a lot of steamy sex.

Since the failure of her first attempt, Liliana’s books have won awards such as: The Daphne Du Maurier, The Suzannah, The Linda Howard Award of Excellence, The Maggie, and many others. Her affiliations include Romance Writers of America and Mystery Writers of America. Liliana loves to cook, and is addicted to reading, Internet Boggle, kickboxing, and Bones. She lives in a big, rambling house in Texas with a couple of cats to keep her company. She loves to get emails from readers.

Enjoy the Adventures!

    Secrets and Satin!!!!
As hot as Jade home town and so tender at times I teared up. It awesome to see a switch on the dynamic of the Hero and Heroine. Max played the usual Heroine roll of the patience, loving, determined one in the relationship. Jade played the usual Hero roll being the relunctant one who thinks love is an illusion. The story was solid with enough backstory you could read it first out of the series, just beware it will make you want to read the rest of the series. I love the Mackenzie Series and hope Ms. Hart contines it for a long, long time. This series is a must read for anyone who loves a good Book Series that is re-reable over and over. Thank you Liliana for a great read as usual.

This is another great Mackenzie story! Jade and Max are not MacKenzies by blood, but they are part of their world. Jade is a strong woman who excels in her career, but who has faced her share of tragedy. Max has been through many situations with Jade and experiences more in this story along side her. This story will take you on ups and downs through their journey that you do not want to miss. Like the other books in the series you do not want to miss this installment!

A must read! Loved the main characters as well as the secondary characters who pop up in all of the books in the MacKenzie series. A love story with action and whitty banter. Each book Liliana Hart writes seems to be better then the previous one. I can't wait for the next book due in April.

Liliana Hart has done it again writing a fantastic addition to the Mackenzie series. Next to Brant and Darcy....Max and Jade are my favorite couple. I love how the roles were reversed and Jade was the reluctant one in the relationship and Max was on the one who wouldn't give up but I'm happy that it all worked out in the end. Looking forward to reading Delcan and Sohpia's story when its released in April.

    Captivating

Ms. Hart's McKenzies series is addicting. The way she weaves the character together in the story really works for me. I am so lucky that I found this series when I did. Many of the books are out so I don't have to wait before starting the next one.

I highly recommend this series to all adults.

    Wasn't the best..

The background of the characters was minimal and was mostly just repetitive sex scenes inside an action mission. Not my cup of tea. I like well built characters and more of a story than just a boring 150 pages. I found it hard to get through.
