    my book report

The title of the book that I am writing my book report on is "Secrets (Undercover Girl Series #1)." It is written by Christine Harris. In this book you never really know exactly what is going on. It leaves your imagination wondering. I never wanted to put this book down because you always wanted to know what was going to happen next. Jesse Sharpe is a super genius secret agent. She works for this thing called C2. C2 is a mysterious organization that takes orphan geniuses and trains them to be spies and catch the bad guys. They often send the spies out on practice missions. If they succeed in the practice missions, Director Granger (their boss) sends them out on real life missions. Jesse gets sent out on a mission to protect a girl named Jazmine that is going to get kidnapped. Jesse starts attending Jazmine's school and they quickly become close friends. Little did Jesse know that Jazmine's father was working for C2 as well and plus another bad guy organization. He was very deep undercover. Her own dad was plotting her kidnapping! The protagonist in this story is of course Jesse Sharpe. Her parents were killed in an car crash and she was the only survivor. C2 kind of adopted her. She grew up living with a carer, which is like a nanny. She has a photographic memory, learned to play clarinet in one day, read encyclopedias by the age of three, and can fluently speak five languages. She is an absolute genius, so her carer never lets her eat anything but healthy food. The employees of C2 often do tests on her to make sure she is capable of performing such tasks as she is needed to do. Jesse has never been around the world. She's always been an "undercover girl." She has never even eaten a hamburger. She doesn't know a single thing about her family, other than they died in an automobile accident. She has two people that she considers her family. They are people by the name of Jai and Prov. Jai is another undercover spy who is also a genius and Prov is almost like Jesse's motherly figure. Jesse's practice missions are somewhat different from the real one that she has. When she meets Jazmine, they become friends in no time at all. She's really then only friend that Jesse has ever had, but she has to remember that this is business and she mustn't get too attached. Liam, her advisor, tells her that once they complete a mission they have to move on to the next mission an basically forget about the last one. I enjoyed this book very much. I think that this girl has a very hard life. She has no family, really no friends, she always has to eat healthy food, and she is always in danger and is always kinda confused. I would definitely recommend this book to any girl!

If James Bond was a girl...

This is one of my favorite series even though it's below my reading level. I love how Jesse is so ignorant to the outside world. She and the rest of characters make this book worthwhile.

Don't Keep This Book a Secret!

The book I am reviewing is UNDERCOVER GIRL: SECRETS#1 by Christine Harris. This book is book one of this exciting series! I give this book five stars because it is an adventure book. It is wonderful for girls of all ages, but, can be harder for younger kids! This book is about a girl named Jesse and she works as a spy at c2, a secret organization! She is on a secret mission. Read the book to find out the rest! I would definitely recommend this book to a friend because it is daring and exciting. You will really get into the story. It shows how girls can do anything and they can be stronger than men! So read this book for an adventure. When you get to the end have the second book ready to go because the first book will leave you hanging. It makes you want to read the other books!
