Maggie Scarf's insights have been invaluable to me. I was touched by the tremendous empathy she had for her interviewees and particularly impressed with her clear explanation of her research. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Another engaging foray into science journalism for the layperson from the amazing Maggie Scarf. This personal and beautifully written exploration of the science of the mind and the way the brain rewires itself in response to experience is a must-read! Scarf's description of the trauma of witnessing will strike a sensitive chord for any citizen in today's trauma-ridden world, and her personal reflections are truly inspirational. Was this review helpful?
