Editorial Reviews

Locksie M. - Locksie M
There is so much to talk about in this story, which took me all of five hours to read. I couldn't put this book down! I am careful about what I have written so far because I don't want to spoil it for the other readers.
I will say there is an excellent cast of characters that bring tragedy, suspense, drama, and sex to this book. And with all the excitement in this story there is still one secret that Tarron doesn't know about yet...and by the end of the book I was beginning to feel sorry fo

    What a great book

this book is one of the few books that i can never put down. I picked this book up and was always getting yelled at by my mother and teachers because i could never put it down. It took me 2 days to read this book. The only thing about the book i didnt like was the way you left me hanging at the end. But over all the book was GREAT. I sent all my friends out to get the book. And like what Tarron's grandmaother said times have changed but not as much because if i was Secret i would beat Victoria every time i laid my eyes on her with Tarron. And if anything i would beat Tarron to. But i understand why Secret cut her self... But i still think she shouldn't have done such a thing because she left behind two kids. I am so ready to read another one of your books. you will b getting my review on [[ More Secrets More Lies ]]

The author waa trying to do way too much in my opinion. At times story seemed to get off track and be all over the place. Did not enjoy.

    unsure

i really didnt know how to feel about this.... it was very interesting at the least. at times the plot was predictable and the writing and spelling, way of talking was horrible. it did keep me wanting more but i think i just wanted to know the outcome after being so caught up with the characters lives. but once again interesting for sure.

    Sticky Marriage

I never thought a relationship could ever be so sticky but J. Tremble showed in Secret¿s of a Housewife it¿s possible if there¿s not trust within a relationship and if you don¿ t understand your loved one thoroughly . Trust in a relationship is not something you have. A young married couple by the name of Tarron and Secret have two beautiful children Terrence and Tika, Tarron loved his son and daughter dearly but there was a flaw in his marriage with Secret, he just wasn¿t pleased. Secret was a gorgeous woman she went to work came home cooked, cleaned, and took care of the kids like an ideal wife a man would wish for. Tarron cares about Secret and the kids but Tarron being the handsome African American man he is Tarron has his pick of the sexiest women in Georgia which interferes with his relationship, he loves Secret but he¿s not completely happy with her because she doesn¿t fulfill his wants the way he wishes. Tarron wants Secret to have bath water ran for him when he get¿s off work and Secret feels Tarron wants are unnecessary, she wouldn¿t mind doing things like that for him if he did the same in return. He goes to work come home, eat, and then go to sleep Secret feels she has too much on her plate and Tarron doesn¿t appreciate what she do. I strongly feel Tarron should be a man and own up to his responsibilities and help Secret out around the house. Just like any other Tuesday evening Tarron watched his son Terrence at his football game. Tarron¿s phone rung, the number was private he assumed it was Secret. ¿Hey baby,¿ he said as he answered the phone. ¿This isn¿t your baby, but your Peek-A-Boo¿, the seductive voice replied. ¿I know I shouldn¿t be here, but I couldn¿t resist. At that point Tarron knew his unhappiness with Secret would fade away. The phone call Tarron had received was from his ex-girlfriend Victoria. This was very surprising to me I felt as though Tarron should¿ve hung the phone up after figuring out that it wasn¿t Secret. Tarron foolish mistake shows me that he doesn¿t care about his marriage with Secret, I feel Tarron should take the time out and talk with Secret expressing how he feels about their relationship and ways to make their marriage grow. When I found out that Tarron got back in contact with Victoria I knew that it was going to bring problems in his marriage, because he was already having trouble with Secret and the Victoria coming in the picture that wasn¿t going to make the situation any better. J. Tremble is an absolute amazing author I personally don¿t care for reading books because I don¿t understand certain writer¿s techniques. J. Tremble explained each point he made well, he uses metaphors and similes in Secrets of a Housewife which most definitely helped me understand the book. Reading Secrets of a Housewife it showed me that you should never jump right into a marriage if you¿re not positive if the one you¿re marrying is right for you because jumping in a marriage being unaware if that¿s the right person it¿ll just cause unnecessary hurt.Secrets of a Housewife is based upon cheating while being in a relationship and J. Tremble shows exactly how cheating can mess a relationship up it brings a lot of stress and unhappiness. In one scene of the book Secret was talking with her friend and her friend asked her ¿Why are you with Tarron if you know he¿s cheating on you? You knew he was a player before marrying him¿. In this quote it¿s illustrating before Secret married Tarron she was aware that he was a ladies man and he was talking to other women. I feel Secret should¿ve never married Tarron knowing he was talking to other women because now she¿s suffering the consequences. I highly recommend Secret¿s of a Housewife mainly to teenagers because they¿ll learn how trust is key in a relationship, treating others how you want to be treated, and the only way you¿ll receive respect is if you give it. It¿s a very realistic book reading this book you¿ll build

    Off the Chain

I read this book in three hours straight. I loved the erotic parts that J. Tremble used to assist with telling this twisted love story. The characters are funny, serious, sneaky and even nasty. I hope that J. Tremble continues this story in the part 2. Good Job!
